    Customers who need doors finished can contact us and tell us about the project. When doors are finished directly from the manufacturer, it can take 6 to 8 weeks. Our SmithPro team is a more time-effective option, with our process taking about 7 to 10 days.

  • Color Matching

    The next step in the door finishing process is color matching. Customers can choose their custom color by the manufacturer's color code, or SmithPro can color match them. 

  • Logistics

    One of the most significant benefits of choosing SmithPro for your commercial door finishing needs is that it is hands-free for the customer until the doors are installed. 


    We will arrange for the doors to be dropped off at our facility directly from the supplier. Then, we set up the doors in our paint booth. We confirm the color choice and specs with the customer before painting.

  • Finishing

    After the customer's final confirmation, the doors are taken to the painting booth, where our craftspeople stain or paint, seal, sand, and finish them. 

  • Delivery

    Once the doors are finished, they come down from the booth and are palletized for shipping. For smaller jobs of 40 doors or less, SmithPro Commercial Painting can deliver directly to you. 

  • Future Products

    Another benefit to working with us is that we save all data from the job. If you come in a few years later for a new set of doors or other doors to be matched, we will still have your custom color and file. This ensures a perfect match and a streamlined experience.
